    On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are pleased to invite you to participate in the international scientific conference on “Sustainable fruit and berry cultivation” during September 9-10, 2020 at Polli Horticultural Research Centre of Estonian University of Life Sciences, Polli, Estonia. With the conference we mark the 75 years from the beginning of pomological research and 100 years of horticultural education in Polli.

    Seminars have been organised first Wednesday each month (except summer holidays in July and August) since May 6, 2020 from 12:00 to 13:30 Central European time (13:00 to 14:30 Eastern European time). The schedule of each seminar include two 15-20 minutes presentations with possibility for 20 minutes discussion after each of them. It is welcome participation of senior and other researchers, including PhD and master’s students as speakers, and all other researchers and students as guests.

    NJF plans to organise a Nordic-Baltic vegetable meeting in Kristianstad, November 2020.

    The event that runs from Monday evening until Tuesday evening will be a meeting opportunity for farmers, advisors, companies and the vegetable food sector to present recent findings and exchange ideas within the vegetable sector. The Vegetable meeting will be followed by a N-B Fruit and Berries Meeting.
