Advances and Innovations in Agricultural Engineering. The 4th NJF – Agromek- EurAgEng joint seminar

Jan. 19 – 20, 2021 in Herning, Denmark

The workshop is arranged in the beginning of the Agromek Fair, 19th – 20th of January 2021 in Herning, Denmark, https://www.agromek.com  the largest fair of agricultural machinery in the Northern Europe. Thus, the workshop is a joint seminar together with NJF, Agromek and also the EurAgeng organization http://www.eurageng.eu/ which is represented nationally in most of our countries.

The main goal is to increase and strengthen the Agricultural Engineering (AE) cooperation within research, education, companies, advisory service as well as innovation between our countries.  This is important in order to ensure sustainable and environmental friendly farming and high-quality food production.

You are all warmly welcome with a presentation from your work or as an active participant! Together we can improve the future farming in our countries! Additionally, we offer participation with approved presentations free of charge for PhD- students (a total maximum of 10) in order to better include young upcoming AE scientists.

Innovation is a key issue for future farming and in pending research, and this is a clear focus for this conference. Thus, on the first day, we will have a walk around in the innovation room, a hall where all the new innovations at the Agromek Fair are gathered. At the end of the second day, the participants will have the possibility to visit the fair on their own.

The conference will highlight the common interest of AE from researchers and manufactures and aims to improve the level of AE education and AE consultancy within the Nordic Baltic countries. Participation as well as presentations from the AE manufactures and companies are very much welcomed.
