Dear Colleagues,

You are welcome to join (access on-line) the international continuous scientific conference “Challengers of Economics, Education and Society Development in the Nordic – Baltic Countries and beyond”, organised by the Economy – Education and Society working group, NJF. This title was given to the cycle of virtual seminars, which have been organised since 6^th of May 2020.

By organising this conference, we closely collaborate with:

Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies,

Agricultural Academy of Vytautas Magnus University (Lithuania),

Sūduva Academy of Mykolas Romeris University (Lithuania).

Separate seminars of this conference are held every first Wednesday each month (except summer holidays in July and August) from 13:00 to 14:30 Eastern European time (12:00 to 13:30 Central European time). The schedule of each seminar includes one or two 15-20 minutes presentations and discussion until 20 minutes after each presentation.

Participation in these seminars and discussions is free of charge for both – speakers and listeners. We welcome participation of all researchers and teachers of Higher Education Institutions, including PhD and master students, who are interested in topics of presentations are announced. The scope of available presentations is mostly concentrated on sustainable Economics, Education and Society Development issues, but the multidisciplinary approach is desirable also. The chair of the scientific committee of this conference is Baiba Rivza, professor at the Latvian University of Life Sciences and Technology.

We will include your email address into the list of potential participants at Google Meet environment and you will automatically receive the reminder before each event.

Those, who would like to participate at the conference as a speaker, let us know your name, surname, the title of your presentation and the title of institution you are representing. When we agree on the date of your presentation, we will ask you to send us an annotation of your presentation with 3 – 5 keywords. Our seminars take place on-line using Google Meet environment. For checking communication possibilities and management of the slides, we ask speakers to join this environment approximately 10-15 minutes before the seminar.
